Hiragana and Katakana Matching Game

Learning Japanese? Did you know the Japanese language has two phonetic alphabets? Hiragana for native words, and Katakana for foreign words. This game focuses on helping you learn or practice your knowledge of their phonetic alphabets. You can use this game as a test of memory or as a learning tool. You will match the Japanese characters to their correct Romaji (English characters). You can play with all the characters from either Hiragana or Katakana face up to test your knowledge; or test yourself in a memory match with all the cards face down for extreme hard mode. Struggling with a row or two? That's okay! You can focus on several specific rows or just one row at a time, face up or face down. Your choice! Hajimemashouka? Will you begin?

UPDATE:  Bug fixed where if you restart the game and already picked a card the game crashed and added in it's own icon

When you publish and see a few flaws and must re-upload. I'll be putting back in the play again button for anyone who cares. I also did update shortly after posting it for typos in the game. Gomenasai. ごめなさい。

Full Version of the game now out!!!
This version has both Hiragana and Katakana and you can choose what columns you want to study or take on the entire chart for each! Please enjoy!

Ver 1.1
This version has face up or face down matching now so you can challenge just your knowledge of Hirigana or you can challenge both your memory and knowledge.

NOTE:

There is no way to resume your current game from the menu/settings

Known bug: The pause button does not change back to play if you pause to use the settings button and start a new mode.
