A really nice tool for learning Hirigana and Katakana.
My advice, having played it:
Pay attention to the face up vs face down options, and the selecting from charts.
If you don't know any of the sounds, start off with just a single row in the chart selector. Do each one of the rows for a bit till you think you have it down, then increase the number of rows.
Once you get to doing all of them face up, and feel pretty quick at it, from there, move to face down, working your way up again.
I find this matching game does a great job pushing my memorization of the symbols quickly, and it's a lot more enjoyable than boring practice sheets!
